WIPs
Works in Progress
We are all works in progress, are we not? And I tend to have 3-4 WIPs at all times.
Check out some projects I'm working on currently below.
Knitting on a recent camping trip - oh the places you can knit!
Streamline Tank Pattern by Two of Wands
I decided to treat my self with some Rowan Cotton Cashmere using a gift card to Maker and Stitch that I was graciously gifted.
I love the subtle details in this tank and although it is knit flat and then seamed (which I usually try to avoid as I prefer to just knit in the round) I went for it. Hoping to wear it for a rodeo date night with my husband while the summer sun is still hot!
beWoolen's 10 color Slip Stitch Blanket
This was a project that was purchased in celebration of completing 15 years as a K-12 classroom educator and for my oldest daughter who adores rainbows. This pattern and kit was purchased from beWoolen and incredible yarn store located in Minneapolis, MN. The 10 color Slip-Stitch blanket is available in a variety of color combinations and includes a large project bag to hold the 10 skeins of, you guessed it, my favorite Malabrigo Rios yarn.
This project uses a mosaic knitting technique and has gotten large. Therefore, it is a stay at home project . I am just now finishing the 7th color and will move on to the 8th soon. This will be a warm and beautiful treasure if I can ever get it done!
